REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN FOR STR’s AND MAPLE GROVE PARK

The City of Lake City is now accepting open registrations for both Maple Grove Park reservations and short-term rentals. Whether you’re planning a stay at the park or looking to rent your property, it’s important to be aware of the deadlines and procedures to ensure a smooth process for the upcoming year.

Short-Term Rentals:  For those wishing to operate a short-term rental in Lake City, there is a three-step process to follow before the May 31st deadline. First, complete the 2025 application for a short-term rental permit. Next, ensure that the rental fees are paid in full. Lastly, your property must pass a satisfactory inspection. Once these steps are completed, you will receive your final permit, allowing you to operate your short-term rental for the upcoming year. This process is crucial to ensure all rentals meet safety and quality standards for the benefit of both guests and the community.

Maple Grove Park Reservations: If you’re looking to reserve a spot at Maple Grove Park, please reach out to Jen at 839-4429. She is available to assist with making reservations for the park’s facilities, ensuring you can secure your preferred dates for picnics, gatherings, and events.  The community room at Maple Grove Park can be reserved for special occasions by calling the City Office at 839-4561 for a small fee and deposit. 

Dock and Hoist Registration Reminder: A reminder to all dock owners: to finalize your dock or hoist registration, you must complete all application forms. Additionally, it’s important to label your dock with your name, address, and phone number. This is necessary for identification and safety purposes, ensuring that all lakefront equipment is properly accounted for.
